Company secretary

According to the new Companies Act 2006 which came into force on the 6th April 2008 companies can now be formed using only one individual acting as a director. This means that there is no need to specify a company secretary as the company does not necessarily have to have one.

Service Address: Under the new regulations, a director of a company is allowed to use a service address and a usual residential address. There is no longer a requirement to specifiy an area of activity unless you choose to do so for a particular reason. The standard 'model' articles of association permit trading in all areas of activity.
